About me? Recovering Alcoholic first, I guess, 10 years sober. Bipolar (manic depressive illness), been on the right meds same time. It was star crossed (I'm not a religious man, but with all that has happened to me, I think things happen for a reason) that I went into rehab and was given Lithium and Risperdal, so I left the rehab with 30 days clean and with the meds established. None of this solved all my problems, but I've made a great deal of progress with my anxiety and depression through ten years of therapy. Not interested in whether i should or shouldn't be taking medication because they are 'mind altering drugs.' Most important by-product of my sobriety is my close realtionship with my daughters, I have a grown son, but I don't hear from him very often. So, I got that out of the way. I've been writing in a closet for almost 40 years and I'm testing the waters. I keep a couple different types of journals every day and the blog interests me because I hope to create a forum for my stories ... and have a journal to keep with pictures and color.
